Burke & Black is a POC, woman-owned catering company serving the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in grazing boards, boxes, and tables, and small bites and mini-sandwiches. As a small business, we stand out by sourcing the finest ingredients, offering premium artisanal cheeses, homemade jams and compotes, and handcrafted desserts.

Our commitment to sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We avoid single-use plastics, use compostable packaging, and provide reusable jars and utensils to minimize waste.

Beyond creating beautiful, artful spreads, we focus on fresh, seasonal, and high-quality ingredients, ensuring every bite is as delicious as it is visually stunning.

Founded in 2019 by Nicole Burke and Monique Black, Burke & Black was born from a shared passion for hospitality and quality, cultivated while working together at the Michelin-starred restaurant Quince in San Francisco. Though Monique departed in early 2021, her dedication to excellence remains an integral part of our ethos.
